Bill O'Reily Invites Al Qaeda to Attack San Francisco

Compassionate Conservative Watch

This has been flying below the radar (at least for me), for almost a week now. Bill O'Reilly, purveyor of patriotism, champion of compassionate conservatism, has invited terrorists to attack San Francisco. During the November 8 broadcast of his show The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly, Big Bill told terrorists to attack the city by the bay, saying:

"If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead."

Hmmm...inviting terrorists to attack the United States...wouldn't that fall under the legal definition of treason? Think Ann Coulter will rant against the Benedict Arnold behavior of her good friend Bill? Me neither.

And why does the Billdo (love that nickname!) have his panties in a twist? He's all in a lather because San Franciscans voted in favor of banning military recruiters from public schools. The OUTRAGE! Bill must find it a slap in the face, since he enlisted to protect his country with a recruiter who came to his public school...

Oh wait, what's that you say? Mr. O'Reilly attended private schools (high school, undergrad and graduate), where recruiters were not allowed? And he's never served in the military? Right. So does that mean we can invite Al Qaeda to attack his house? Hope so...

Intresting how you left out the subject matter and context of Bills quote. As well as the sentences that came before and after the quote. I'm sure you did not do that intentionally.

Funny... I thought allowing the democratically elected representatives of the people of San Francisco decide who does or doesn't come into their schools WAS freedom... Silly me...
